TecSense is an Austrian, privately owned limited liability company (Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung)
located outside of the city of Graz. TecSense seeks to be the leading provider of opto-chemical sensor
systems for industrial and scientific applications.
TecSense is based on long-lasting professional and scientific experiences of its founders. In addition,
co-operations with internationally recognized universities and research institutes like Joanneum Research
(licenser) are intensified to foster new product developments due to international standards.
The current sensor portfolio consists of sensor systems for the determination of gaseous and dissolved
oxygen in industrial processes, laboratories and of a non-invasive, contactless system to determine
oxygen concentrations in sealed packages. Sensor systems to determine further analytes such as CO2 are currently tested.
For all products and processes quality and customer satisfaction are of highest priority. A commitment
that applies to all suppliers and development partners dealing with TecSense.
All TecSense sensor systems are CE labelled and comply with the standards of ASTM F2714_08 as well
as EU food standards, where applicable. TecSense applies the process-oriented approach of ISO 9001
for continuous improvement to maximize customer satisfaction. ISO 9001 certification was achieved in
December 2013 by Bureau Veritas Certification.
The project targets of TecSense are cellulose derivatives used in sensor applications. This are 2 and 3 dimensionally structured cellulose compounds for the preparation of microfluidic devices with integrated sensor systems and for the immobilization of selective receptors. TecSense provides the necessary micro-sensor devices and the development capacity in optics and electronics.
